Hellreek forgot about Rush.

Too kind for his mother, and already a forbidden child, his father took him out to the Boneyard and left him, just like his father did to him. Rush cried, and cried, until a tribe of Longneck found him. They didn't know what to do with a hatchling, but they tried. They raised him as his own until he grew into a dragon.

It became clear to Rush after he grew that he was not Longneck, though he only knew their tongue and new their customs. He knew he needed to be with other dragons. So with wet eyes he bid his parents, his true parents, goodbye, and went back out into the Wasteland.

He didn't know how to do anything someone might want him to do, except cook. So he did. He would cook for fancy events for treasure, travelling from clan to clan looking for treasure.

about.
Rush is sweet and kind, the kind of kind that got his mother to hate him. This has made him painfully shy around other dragons, to the point of being almost mute. He will talk, but it is often so quiet and so accented that no one understands him anyways.

He engages in self-destructive behavior such as over-eating to compensate for the loneliness and abandonment he feels. There's no one currently to check on him to see if those habits develop into something else. (No longer the case in the drift wood drag. He is highly loved by the hatchlings he protects and can be head deep in the night quietly singing lullabies in longneck to the eggs)

Longneck is his first language, and his Dragonic is basic at best. Due to growing up in a Longneck tribe, he was never fed meat, and is strictly vegetarian. He feels ill at the smell of cooking meat, and queasy at the sight of blood.
