Biography

After not knowing what to do with himself in the clan, Lyon decided he had to do something, anything productive for the clan that let him stay. Shaving his fur short to bear the desert heat, he stepped outside and started with tending to the crops at the entrance of the lair. Eventually he got more used to the heat and expanded the range of where he worked until he started taking turns patrolling the territory.
One day on patrol had a particularly bad storm coming in. Lyon didn't let that stop him from patrolling, he had a job to do! He got struck by a bolt of lightning, but luckily another dragon on patrol happened to be around to witness this and rushed him into the lair for medical attention.
While they were able to stabilize his condition, he was still close to death and wouldn't be able to live like he used to. One of the mechanics, Pepper, thought of a way to help with Lyon's situation, but explained it would be risky. Fueled by the guilt of being unable to help the clan anymore, Lyon insisted that Pepper do everything in her power to do this.
It took about a week of work and barely any sleep before Lyon was able to move around in his newly formed body. Though sustainable, it wasn't until months later that Lyon's new body was completely finished, due to a lack of supply. It can easily be said that Lyon's quality of life vastly improved, now with his new body, Lyon is capable of doing more things than ever before. He still patrols the territory sometimes but never in a storm. In fact, after his accident, a new rule was put into place that only Lightning dragons were permitted to patrol during storms, and after some debate, Arcane dragons as well.
