The strongest necromancers of the Kiindulahrn tribe have a very important and very secret job. They reanimate and oversee the human slaves who work in the mines. They make sure that the undead slaves mine as fast and safely as they can to expand the caves below ground. The caves are important, but the deepest caves are the most important for secret reasons. Sheila is a powerful necromancer who work in the small group of necromancers who monitor the undead slave miners. She took great pride in her job and felt herself above everybody else. She mastered all the magics as a young dragon. She was raised in a very strict family of dragons three times removed from the blood The Old One, who believe strongly in the books of The Old One. She married only because of his position in power. She and her family figured that it would be most beneficial. At first she found her spouse to be boring, but soon she found an apreciation for his deep knowledge into the Gods and their ways. She forbid herself to fall in love as the Old One's last words echoed through her mind, so she kept a lid on her feelings for years on end, but she started trusting Aldrich more than her parents and siblings. One day Aldrich started acting differently. Almost nervous she would say, and when she asked him about it he just scuttled off to his library. She let him leave. She would usually attempt everything to pry anything out of anyone, but she had a certain soft spot for Aldrich that she still refused to call love. Months after the curious incident he finally told her what it was about and showed her the 5 Books of Rhakazar. She was appaled at first, but he urged her to read them before placing her judgement, which she did however hesitantly. For the first time in her life she cried. The books had moved her and she had finally let her feelings out all at once. It overwhelmed her and she took several weeks off work to recover from the sudden overload of emotion. She simultaniously realised her feelings for Aldrich and their bond grew stronger with their love and their shared secret. The two are starting to gather a small following in secret and with secret identities and are seeking to convert others, but they do so with utmost caution. The slightest misstep will cost their lives and the lives of many others. |
