______ Since Regent was an egg, an eerie voice used to whisper things to him. Incredible stories of heroic acts, cowardice dragons, and inspired treasure hunts. Even as a hatchling, when he was fast asleep, dormant, in his lair, the same voice would visit with new and exciting stories to tell the young one. Why, Regent did not know, and frankly he didn’t care. He just loved how his dreams would mimic what he was told. So he was the daring adventurer in every tale. It was thrilling. At adulthood, the first thing this Nocturne did, influenced by these fairy tales, was to make them true. He set out to partake in the adventures he dreamed about. He traveled all across the Shifting Expanse, running from bandits, fighting ruffians, finding the hidden treasure.
But as time went on, Regent found that rather than being apart of the story, he enjoyed telling them far more. Watching the expressions young hatchlings would make as he wove the thread that turned into a mystifying tale, just as the eerie voice had done for him. So every new journey Regent set out on, he set out for not just an adventure, but a story to tell. He searched far and wide for the best of the best stories.

______ He acquired many items along the way. A few of which he wears. His tanned rogue gloves? He stole them off an assassin that had set out to kill a princess but actually fell in love with her instead. His mage’s bag? A wizard that had been run out of his clan for his unsavory magical experiments. Yes, everything he wears holds its own story. Including the one of how he actually came across the eerie voice himself. You just need to figure out which piece belongs to that story.
Regent found his way to his current clan, CrestHaven, after he decided that it wouldn’t be so bad to belong to something. While traveling across the different flights was an adventure in of itself, nothing beat having something to come home and tell his stories to. So while Regent will leave for weeks at a time, he always comes home to wow the hatchlings and dragons with his latest tales.
