Io is an older dragon and a matriarch of the clan. She has raised many sons, daughters, and grand-dragons of her own, and also assists in raising other hatchlings. She has a way with the young dragons that their parents can only describe as... magical, and the clan finds her invaluable.

Kind and gentle Io has lived in many lands and has met many fascinating dragons over the years. She claims to have a slight talent for magic as she was born in Arcane-touched territory. When asked, she will ramble on and on and on about incredible Mages and Mystics she once knew. She and Astra bonded over a shared love of storytelling, and Io is the only other dragon Arcturus trusts to watch Antares.

She is not so old that she cannot be a mother once more, but at this point in her life she is more particular about the sires she chooses.
