personality
End of Days has graceful poise, a remainder from her youth as a skydancer, which is frightening when combined with the cultural tendencies she inherited from her place of birth. Even though she was raised in the Plateau as a wind dragon, she carries a bloodlust in her bones from the time her egg spent incubating in a traditional plague nest. Whenever she feels the need to rip something up - whether that be the plague tendency, or the ridgeback tendency - she flies into the clouds and shoots around until her chosen cloud has been complete vanquished. Most dragons see this as her displaying her power, instead of her dealing with her cravings in a humane way.

history
End of Days was delivered to the House of Windborne Sand a few days after a successful contest between many clans. She was the chosen prize. Upon arrival she was taken into the nursery and slowly introduced to the hatchlings that had been born in the clan. She was tentative, a shy skydancer surrounded by parentless hatchlings from found eggs. She missed her parents and the plague-y goo that she had been born in. Tobii took pity on the young thing and took her out of the nursery often, and on short guard trips. As she grew, she found herself wanting to be more like Tobii - sturdy and dependable instead of flighty. But she wasn't willing to let go of her gracefulness.

She approached Eypre and requested both advice and a breedchange scroll - she had been told that they existed, but were only given out to dragons whom the clan deemed worthy. Typically that meant only the parentless hatchlings that were kept from the dozens that were hatched, but Eypre considered her situation and her existence in the clan, as a symbol of connection between the House and the Morning Star, and handed over the scroll that Eod had requested.

She unrolled it and felt herself changing, growing. Soon she stood as a menacing, but graceful ridgeback. She shook the last of the feathers out of her now-leathery wings and thanked Eypre. The storekeeper called her back and handed her two more scrolls, complaining that being that large with crystalline hide was hard to look at, and so she should change into something more suitable. Eod accepted the new genes graciously and walked away.

Tobii was intrigued by Eod's change, but immediately gave her the task of protecting the back side of the clan - the side that faced out onto the Sea of a Thousand Currents. She was to be the border; where she was would be the edge of the clan. Accepting her responsibility, she sought the clan Architect and asked him to build a border platform for her, so that she had a place to call her post - or her room, if you'd like - and he nodded. Soon there was an additional kiteform floating in the distance, tethered to the main house by a thin bur durable braided cord. There Eod spends her days staring out over the Sea. On particularly clear days, she can see the Wasteland where her parents dwell.

She often gets visitors to her kiteform - young dragons will test themselves while learning to fly by flying across the openness to reach her platform. She welcomes all visitors, and tells them about the edge of the clan, an undefined line in the sky that moves as the wind moves.

A little while after she started her post, she requested a second kiteform be built, as the dragons who were to be off to find the Windsinger would sit out on her platform to meditate and listen to the winds, and her personal platform was getting a little crowded. Again Joao approved.
