Biography

Quote:
"Morbus... Morbus isn't a dragon you want to run into on opposing sides. She's not our top strategist for nothing."

- Morbus Shadefreeze - Strategist - She/They -

Primary Elemental flight rep of Ice

- Resourceful | Calculated | Apathetic -

Mate:
None

Bound by a fierce loyalty to her clan leaders, Morbus is one of the Roseglades' most withdrawn members... and one of the most feared. She shows little emotion, focusing all her energy on tasks. An icy chill from the shadows usually announces her presence, long before the eerie glow of her runes begin lighting the darkness.

Morbus perfectly displays the ice element with her cold, calculating personality - She's extremely intelligent, and uses that to her advantage in ending conflicts and capturing enemies. She is almost never seen publicly - generally sticking to the darkened council chambers, discussing clan matters with her fellow strategists.

Discovered severely wounded one day on the edge of the Sunbeam Ruins by a much younger, and at the time apprentice healer Wulfenite, Morbus was taken in to be treated. Here, she was met with mutual suspicion kept in line only by the Skydancer's insistence that a healer treats all.
Morbus slowly grew to trust her enough, eventually explaining that she had been banished from her clan upon hatching - The adults all believing her to be infected by shade, yet her parents could not bear to see her frozen and sealed away forever. She had survived alone for some time, only to be ambushed by beastclans.
Wulfenite took pity on her new-found friend, and managed to convince the clan to accept her; Morbus not only feels the orange dragon saved her life a hundred times over that fateful day, but has come to see her home as a beacon of safety.

She has, more or less, felt indebted since; Morbus quickly rose to one of the clan's most powerful and valued members.
