Most dragons would agree that you shouldn't spend too much time wandering the rims of The Scarred Wasteland. Amiri is the living, breathing proof that this isn't just some superstition or exaggeration, but the painful truth. She was born to the Dreamers Reprise, a peaceful Arcane clan full of promising magelings and was hatched unter the supervision of her mother Yuki and the clanleader Iyana herself. She grew up in a happy, nurturing environment, together with her sister Aleksei.

But Amiri grew curious of the outside world. Her magic powers just started to grow, but she was determined to explore the secres of the Starwood Strand. Lost in the beauty of the glowing trees, she walked to far - directly into the barren wasteland of Rotrock Rim. Nobody knows what happened there - but it changed the promising young mage to the core.

On the outside, Amiri is still the outgoing, bubbly Coatl, now a beautiful young dragon - but her obsessive, downright enslaving lust for knowledge and power spooked her family. They send her to a smaller clan of the Arcane - always hoping that the calm knowledge of Keahi and the steady hand of Jasvinder will help Amiri find to herself again.

Amira is the last daughter of Amiri, bor in an desperate attempt to help Cadriel defend Iantha and to keep the shadows away from the Starwood Sanctuary. Amira inherited most traits from her mother, especially her curiosity and her fearless nature.
