Angelana Silvershadow is the regal and ducal daughter of Jupiter and Azura Angel. She likes her stepfather Perseus much more than her father Jupiter. She is the surrogate mother of Saphyra. She is now married to High Duke Cyphnos Silvershadow of the Clan of Silver Snow. She is now the proud mother of four beautiful children; the Dukes Theseus and Dior and the Duchesses Cordia and Artemesia. Although no Silvershadow will admit it, Angelana was a homewrecker. Angelana Angeli-Silvershadow, Second Generation Princess of Angels, the High Duchess of Shadows, the future Empress of Shadows, the wife to the Imperial High Duke and Heir of Shadows, and mother of the Imperial Heirs, is the daughter of an Original Prince and Original Princess of Angels. She grew up with divorced parents, but a regal family who doted on her so much that she was never bothered by her parents' broken marriage. However, it still hurt the young Angelana to know that her father left her mother for a different woman, and abandoned his family, clan, and Angelana for this other woman. Angelana first met High Duke Cyphnos at a Rosewood League Event. Cyphnos and his then-girlfriend, Lurata, were students at the elite Hartford University; Angelana was as well, but never really interacted with the couple. Upon graduating, Angelana never tried to gain a Master's degree, and spent the next two years traveling Sornieth on a philanthropic and socialites' mission. This increased her popularity, as the public appreciated a princess with a caring heart. Meanwhile, Cyphnos was facing troubles in his marriage to Lurata. Twilight worked with her friend, the Queen of Angels, Angelana's grandmother, in arranging a suitable match for Princess Angelana. Twilight loved the Princess. She had excellent qualities that were not enviable; furthermore, she was a philanthropist, socialite, people's darling, naturally regal and born as such. Therefore, Twilight and her daughters Hersa and Ceralia conspired to replace Lurata with Angelana. Cyphnos was growing tired of the threats towards his marriage and family, and therefore, frequently spent less time with the family and more in debauchery ventures with his noble friends, such as high end galas, alcohol, gambling, and brief extramaritial flings. Lurata grew frustrated at her husbands' lack of help and action at the negativity directed at her and their children; as a result, their marriage was fraying, and all Twilight had to do was forever sever it. With The Queen of Angels' blessing, Princess Angelana permanently moved to the Duchy. Cyphnos was immediately captivated by her natural beauty, intellect, charm, and worldliness. His family constantly compared Angelana to Lurata, leading to Pluto indulging in the same. Even Emperor Jet, whom Cyphnos was closest to, strongly favored Angelana and encouraged Cyphnos to divorce his wife for her. However, he felt bad hurting his wife, as he still loved her. However, Cyphnos couldn't resist Angelana; his family told him that if he didn't engage with her, he would forever lose the princess, and the very thought infuriated him, so he entered into an affair with Angelana. Cyphnos quickly divorced Lurata for the Princess, and soon married Angelana. Their relationship was significant; it was an eternal partnership, alliance, and connection between the Royal Kingdom and Imperial Dukedom. The couple cemented their bond with an equally impressive legacy of 8 heirs. Angelana does not regret coming in the way of Cyphnos and Lurata's relationship. Despite never disliking Lurata and her children, she is glad that they are out of the way.

This was painted by the immensely talented and famous artist, Coatlangelo. Looking at this picture, it is easy to understand why the Silvershadows strongly preferred Princess Angelana over Lurata.  A portrait of the High Duke's first and former wife, Archduchess Lurata Silvershadow. It is important to note that Princess Angelana, the current High Duchess, bears a strong resemblance to her husband's previous bride. Archduchess Lurata's timid look of fright was purposefully included in the painting. Since their divorce and Lurata's swift exile, High Duke Cyphnos merely locked her portrait away in his attic; even now, he can never bring himself to burn the painting of Lurata, despite his family's encouragements to do so. |
