Gene plan:
Sterk was a young Guardian, with the dreams of becoming a region known potion master. His parents had sent him to this clan to become the apprentice of Famine and Citrine, two of the best potion brewers in Sornieth.
He tried his best, but because of his size he tended to accidentally break things around him. Luckily for him, Citrine was a very patient teacher and helped him when he made a mess. She knew he would be able to do great things one day. Famine didn't talk or do much to teach him, but he did spectate Sterk in the corner of the room in case he took a misstep. Though when he did, Famine would swoop in and fix his wrongdoing, undoing whatever mistake he had done that could've proved fatal.
But one day something went wrong. Horribly wrong.
Citrine was gone. There was no trace of her. Though it was normal for her to wander off to collect new herbs and toxins, she had been gone for way too long. No one in the clan knew what happened, except for Skygge, who lost her sight after the disappearence of Citrine. The little Fae had also become much quieter than before and reluctant to talk to others. She was only willing to tell Sterk what had happened to both her and his mentor. Her now low, raspy voice spoke out a riddle in rhymes to the young Guardian:
'A ritual gone wrong, the Shade's at fault
The dangerous wander to the long lost vault
Her effort was persistent, but alas to no use
The venture resulted in hell let loose.'
Sterk went back to his tent after this cryptic encounter, deep in thought trying to figure out her message. As the Guardian entered their ones shared tent, he was met by Famine sitting on the floor while staring into the abyss. His mouths were barely moving, but it seemed like he was uttering some sort of hex into the unknown. Before Sterk could have any input on this, Famine swiftly picked up his belongings and fled into the night with no explanation or "goodbye".
Sterk was absolutely devastated, abandoned by the two dragons he had cared about the most.
Though it took time, he moved on in his life. Of course, he felt betrayed by Famine for cowardly running away, but he didn't blame him. Citrine had, after all, been his only wife and lover as well as a second mother to Sterk.
Later on his brother, Kaos, moved in. He had been traveling all the way from their motherlair, seeking out the same dream. Once he had arrived, Kaos told him stories and teached him in the art of brewing powerful concoctions. In Citrine's honor, they decided to open a potion shop called Precious Posions & Potions, run by the two of them.
