Artemis came flying in on a comet late one March night. She landed right in front of Bree and announced "Here I am!" as if the other dragon were expecting her. And that cute little face and winning smile, as well as her big entrance, so entranced Bree that all she could say at the time was "Yes, here you are!" That sealed it. Artemis went around introducing herself to each and every dragon. The strange thing is that she already knew each dragon's name. When questioned about this, she said, "Oh, I have been watching you all while waiting for my comet to carry me here."

The other dragons were shocked to find out that she shared a nest with Rigal...he is the one dragon most of the others are afraid of! But when Artemis started talking to him about his insect-watching, he didn't warn her off. Insect-watching? Who knew?
