Asagai's place in the lair has decidedly been a place of great respect. She prepares the rituals and dragons for exaltation, carefully dresses each dragon in long, white garments, and paints their hides and scales with delicate white designs. She gives each dragon a satchel woven from blooming flowers which glow at night like tiny stars, and a plinth of crystal from the Crystalspine Reaches which surround the lair. She then sings joyfully to them as they leave, often in groups. They pick up the song where Asagai leaves off, the songs of old, and disappear until the Arcanist finds them.
She wears a blindfold and does not look at the those who are exalted, but Asagai commits their smell to memory and occasionally smells them on different breezes that blow through the clan's territory. It comforts her to know that they made it to the Arcanist and now have a honourable place to stay, and she often asks Epiphany to pray for their well-being.
