Born of a Nature clan, Tropica trained in the art of war, rising to the rank of Everbloom Commander in the Viridian Labyrinth. After an encounter with the young dragon, Seoman was deeply impressed with how knowledgable and skilled Tropica was, and quickly recruited Tropica to bolster the defenses of the clan. His duties quickly grew to training young hatchlings on proper use of battlestones, weapons, and potions. Although Tropica enjoys the thrill of a fight, his true joy will always be instructing the young.

Since the clan moved to the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Tropica works exclusively with Silmeria, taking young dragons Barros has deemed worthy to the nearby Kelp Beds so they might one day serve the Tidelord and bring honor and riches to the clan. He likes to joke with the Bossman that he and Silmeria must be single-handedly populating the Tidelord's ascended army, thanks to the sheer number of young dragons that are exalted to the Tidelord each month.
