  about.
The King of Crags is now a powerful wraith, and his soul is angry. His anger is what makes him useful.

Erion shackled the old king to his will, keeping the wraith alive as a symbol of power, and to use it on the tundra who remember the old king's scent. Even in death, Eidereas is an important tool, and Erion's constant tinkering with his spirit keeps making it more and more formidable.

  origins.
Eidereas came into his kingdom when he was a young hatchling, his father dying only days before from sickness. His mother was austere, and did not grieve long for her mate that died, and doted over her sole son. She trained him and taught him how to be a proper king.

From what some dragons know, is that Eidereas was a fair and just king. He was empathetic, kind to his subjects, and a fierce foe to his enemies. He helped build the village that would soon be home to Erion's clan, decades later, and expanded the castle that the Tundra would haunt.

Yet, despite the prosperity, when Erion came upon the abandoned castle, it was full of bones. The villagers had gotten on fine, most of them wondered where their king was.

Erion didn't ask him what befell the castle, or what went wrong. Erion knew, somewhere, in his cold dead heart what had happened, and that is what drew the lich to the castle in the first place.
