______ Opal studies the bottoms of dry riverbeds and oceans to understand the changes that happened in the climate and the ground over the course of history. Because of this, Opal spends most of the year away from the Clan, travelling around other Flight's territories. She's had some close calls with hostile dragon Clans before, but it hasn't stopped her yet!

______ Opal has made friends with Yafet and now she has a buddy to travel the world with!

-Favorite rock is actually microcline Microcline

-Uses water magic to clean and polish rocks that she finds.

-Once travelled to the Ashfall Wastes to find a rare mineral deposit but got scared off by the weirdly named heavy metal dragons of 7734.

-Is great at making rock candies out of actual rock.

-Has found that the Sorneith climate was much warmer and wetter at the time of the first age.
