Born as the only male in his nest, Ghayth is the perfect blend of both his dam and sire. His dam Demenael ensured that all of her hatchlings gained the knowledge of their heritage through her line as a noble in exile, while their sire Kshitij brought the steady warmth, gentle laughter and scent of the forges.

It didn't take long after their hatching for their nest to begin displaying signs of the drakes that they would eventually become, and Ghayth was no different. If he was not following his sire down to the forges to watch in rapture as the blacksmiths created many wondrous tools and other such odds and ends, he could be found attentively studying his dam's sure movements as she worked with the other healers in creating the necessary potions, ointments and other essentials for daily life in the city.

Over time, Ghayth began thinking of ways to make his dam's- and the other healers in the city- work easier, and began creating small sculptures in his adolescence that were later honed into a more useful skill. As his ability became clearer, he began making containers for the balms and ointments that the healers quickly put to use, and demand grew the more that the young drake continued to make them.
