The beginning of Taurëandil's life is a tragic story of an egg stolen from a loving nest of Fae in the Windswept Plateau. Though no one truly knows who stole the egg, what is known is that the egg somehow landed itself in the grounds of the Passus Canorous where it was held for months. There was an uncertainty in the troupe, as there always was with parentless eggs, about who would raise the resulting offspring provided the eggs ever hatched ever and what would the personality of the child be? It was truly a surprise when the tiny fae did finally hatch, confused and more than a bit curious about the land around him. It was during a trip to the library when he was merely hours old that fate truly intervened and he was changed into a small tundra after stumbling into a table and knocking off a pile of discarded scrolls that included a breed changing spell.

Though he was changed from a fae to a tundra, many of the fae instincts remain leading to an interesting mix of monotone inflection in speech and a sense of justice that was unmatched by any other instinct. Driven by an inner moral compass that lead him to grow into a life of thievery and vigilantism, Taurëandil chose a name that showed his love of the bamboo and proper forests that covered the lands of his home. Using his unique colouring to hide among the trees to lay in wait with his small band of followers, the tundra is perhaps one of the best hunters and trackers of the entire clan.

Often hired by outside clans as a guide through the woods and to steal back precious valuables, Taurëandil enjoys a stylish lifestyle full of adventure and daring tales that are almost too fanciful for anyone to truly believe. When he's not off robbing the rich to help those poor unfortunate souls who had their personal effects stolen or were wronged, Taurëandil enjoys spending time in the troupe's sizable gardens with his mate Gingersnap. The pair can often be seen tending the large number of plants grown to feed the vegetarian members of the troupe or entertaining hatchlings with various tales of daring adventure.
