刀劳鬼(Daolaogui)
Daolaogui is a deity, he was born because of a glitch in the world, he slipped into this world without the intention of the Gods. Since he was not born from something, which means he is not limited by the lifespan of anything, hence he has infinite life, unless he was killed.
临川间诸山有妖物，来常因大风雨，有声如啸，能射人，其所着者，有顷，便肿，大毒。有雌雄：雄急，而雌缓；急者不过半日间，缓者经宿。其旁人常有以救之，救之少迟，则死。俗名曰“刀劳鬼”
At LinChuan, there is a kind of evil spirit, often appears with strong wind and pouring rain, its noise is one of wind howl. This evil spirit can shoot people, the ones who have been shot, their bodies will be swollen in a short time by the acute toxin. Toxins are differ by the spirits' gender: male's toxin spreads like wildfire, while female's toxin are more subtle. The faster toxin takes no longer than half a day, whereas the slower toxin can make it over the night. People who live around LinChuan know how to cure the injured, however if rescue was not in time, the injured will result in death.
