Playful • Rebellious • Stubborn • Short-tempered  Den • dro • ba • ti • dae Poison dart frog is the common name of a group of frogs in the family Dendrobatidae. These species are diurnal and often have brightly colored bodies. This bright coloration is correlated with the toxicity of the species, making them aposematic. Some species of the Dendrobatidae family exhibit extremely bright coloration along with high toxicity, while others have cryptic coloration with minimal to no amount of observed toxicity "Did you know the term for brightly colored animals indicating danger is called Aposematism? Now you do!" Art/Quote • RamDragon  WIP Dendrobatidae is more affectionately referred to as Eadi (ee • di) for short and can never be seen without her protective friend and poison frog companion, Matti. She had never felt comfortable in her seabed home, and upon coming of age she left the waters and found refuge in the wetter, more tropical regions of the Viridian Labyrinth where she met her poison frog companion, Matti. She can often be seen playing and talking freely with the little frog as though it were returning with words rather than gesture.  Matti No-nonsense • Loyal • Compassionate • Protective Eadi's loyal, poison frog companion doesn't speak and instead only communicates through a wide range of facial expressions and body gestures, however despite this non-verbal form of communication it is evident that he is a true and loyal friend, constantly there to keep her company, cheer her up, drive her forward and to encourage her in all she does. He is very protective of his Coatl friend, and despite his playful and unexpectedly affectionate nature Matti certainly does NOT take well to those who cause Eadi harm and can become slightly aggressive, often without remorse.
