Umaroth, despite his residence in the clan of Arcane, still remains loyal to the Tidelord, so he does not take part in the celebration that occurs when the Starfall Celebration comes 'round. He enjoys the feel of flowers, enjoying the soft, slight damp feel of the morning lilies. He has Willow help him collect flower petals, and put them in seashells for his own safekeeping. He enjoys riddles and games that require you to think, as he finds joy in testing another's mind, wondering how developed they are. He despises tricksters, as he finds their jests and jokes rather annoying more than he does amusing. He will not hesitate to scold any tricksters in the clan, and Willow will have to restrain him so he doesn't write them page after page on how it's wrong to do such. The scolding will be gentle if it is a rather light hearted one, but he will be in a fit in anyone was harmed during it. He finds pleasure in the company of scholars and people who are not so loud and think before speaking. The upbringing of Umaroth is not the most happiest beginning for a dragon. He was born mute, as it was not inflicted in a scuffle or accident. His parents loved him despite this disability, but the rest of the clan was not the same. His seer abilities came near the age of 7, and at the time of his discovery, there were already two seers within the clan, one an elder, and another not much older than he. He provided his visions in the form of poor drawings, rendering the council to push them aside as nothing more than a child's imagination or fantasy to join their ranks. They did not even spare a thought for the tiny Imperial, so he was ignored, but never treated poorly. His parents helped him as much as he could, but it could not fend the loneliness that threatened to overcome him. |

In an act of anger and resentment, he told naught of his vision. He listened in on the conversation the elders had with the two other seers, who had seen different outcomes than he. Now it was a matter of whose would come true. He left the clan, not traveling far as with no experience outside the walls he could wander too far and get lost. He sat their for a week, and returned after a few days of wandering. He had stepped on a broken clay jar, cursing as his foot began to bleed. But soon when he had looked up from his bleeding paw, Umaroth saw that his vision had arose to fulfill it's prophecy. Bodies, bloodied and battered were scattered throughout the clan, items thrown onto the streets and trashed with no mercy. Recoiling in disgust, he quickly stepped back, backing into a pillar. The images of his vision flashed within the blackened depths of his mind and he soon realized, that his vision did come true. Filled with grief and remorse for his actions, he fled, flying as fast as his wings would carry him. He flew far with such haste, that he had escaped the waters from which he had grown. He flew into the Wind's territory, and was on the brink of death from lack of food and hydration. A dragon had luckily stumbled upon him, and fed him and quenched his thirst. He soon learned the dragon had a name, and her name was Willow. The two grew closer over time, Willow providing him provisions and a small home on the outskirts of her own clan. She eventually told him that she was parting from her clan, to explore the world and let the wind carry her forth. She inquired if he would come with her, and without hesitation he agreed. Upon their quest, Willow gave him a gift; his current familiar, Vrael. And after months of aimless wandering, fluttering from clan to clan, they finally settled down within the Arcane clan, offered permanent placements within the clan as long as they provided their skills, Willow a witch and him a seer. Since then, they have lived comfortably within the clan. Relations; Obviously Willow and him are rather close, Willow being the only one he opens up comfortably to. The two are almost never seen apart, relishing in one another's company. Evidyne and him surprisingly get along quite well, they enjoy trading riddles and pressing one another's minds to the limits. But there are a few mishaps where Umaroth will "accidentally" whack Evidyne. Umaroth finds Ayizan an absolutely annoyance, the Ridgeback always making sure that he's alright and having a swell time. He tries to cheer the grumpy Imperial up at each chance he gets, which infuriates Umaroth to no end. Saphira is always pestering him about his visions, but he is actually glad someone finally takes interest, so he entertains her. He feels like a storyteller when he speaks to her. |
