 Veleno sneaked out at night, limping horribly and trying to lick her wounds at the same time. At her own clan she was treated with love and care as everyone else at first, but then, something changed. Her blood turned out to be poison-proof, and terrific experiments began. At first Veleno was happy to help - as a Shadow dragon, she was quite tolerant to any kind of pain and tried to put this to good use. However, as researches proceeded, she was forced to breed with loads of different mates, giving birth to babies who had immediately been taken away, for some other experiments, probably. Long story short, she was used in bringing out some kind of monster, so Veleno decided to become a monster herself. Secretly taming the most poisonous snakes, she was hiding them beneath her wings, and gradually managed to collect their poison, which she didn't hesitate to use. Dragons guarding her were paralysed and then begone, and Veleno escaped the clan, covered with darkness. Forming strong bonds with her now beloved serpents, she earned herself a living with selling poisons and antidotes, of course testing them on herself first. Temple of Soul accepted such a unique specialist without any questions, suspecting she might have several dark pages in her past. But who doesn't? Fever was one of the first to approach her, as his researches of infections needed answers which Veleno could provide. She is quite happy to finally be useful in a 'normal' way, but the screams of her lost children still tend to wake her up at nights. Klaus often curls up next to her then, trying to warm her body and heart with his gentle, tiny flames.
