As a hatchling, Konohana was raised as a sort of guardian, handed down from the deities above to save her clan. She was born into the Light flight, her shining eyes a beacon to all things holy. She was often called about from family to family, asked to bless hatchlings and to banish curses. She was confused, suddenly thrown into this mess. But she did as she was told. She was a savior, it was her job.

When she got a bit older, they decided to spread her miracles about to the world. From Lightning to Fire, almost every flight was graced with her presence. They payed to see her, to hear her speak. Her job became harder, the days longer, the nights shorter. Eventually, she gained a sort of entourage, fans that followed her every word. They believed the crackles in her scales was bathed in the Lightweaver's blood, shining and shimmering as she went. They blindfolded her, to keep the light inside her eyes intact. "You'll be okay," they cooed. "It's for your own good."

So she lived as if she was fine. She was assited in everything she did. She traveled in a caravan, always. She would almost never speak accept when doing blessings or dispelling curses, or even reading out to clans. She became more and more submissive. And because of her job, she never grew attached to anyone either. No friends, no mate. They thought that she would be poisoned, tarnished. Like she was a crown jewel. Her claws began to ache, and her heart grew heavy. She was alone.

She continued to travel, and she became older. Her name spread throughout the land. They chanted it, sung it, yelled it. Everything seemed to be fine.

But the older she grew, the more sick she became. She became frail from her time traveling, her feathers becoming pale and her eyes loosing its light. Her traveling partners, only the most devoted of her flight, began to worry. They eventually came back to her clan, deeming her too sick to travel anymore. Her health declined more, and she shut the world out for years. Many clanmates tried to coax her out, promising things they couldn't possibly keep. She shut them out, too. She had enough. More time went by.

And then, years later, she heard a soft voice flow into her den, calling to her. "Come to the woods. We can heal you."

And she listened.

She grabbed food, a sack of money, and she sneaked out into the night. So used to the pitch black of her den, she wrapped cloth around her eyes once more. She could finally feel the ground underneath her feet, and she left. She traveled farther and farther from home, following the voice as she went. It helped her out of trouble, it talked to her, it cared for her.

Soon, she arrived to a dark, dense forest. The voice cooed.

"Your here, my darling. Take off your blindfold."

She pawed off her blindfold and was almost blinded. The shrubs and trees began to shake as a clan of dragons walked out. All of them had different colors, eyes shining red, and blue, and purple. But most importantly, green.

She had been lead to the Gladekeeper's domain.

They lead her to their land, trees emptied to become food stores, mounds hollowed out to become nesting grounds. But all she could see was green.

She was welcomed into the clan, and there she has stayed.

{edit: even though i changed clans, her lore will stay the same. shes one of the only dragons in my clan with any at all and im rather proud of it a year later :')}
