Nelda
Personality
She has two different personalities. On the battlefield, Nelda is sadistic. Along with her ‘brother’, they become a true terror. Together with her brother, Nelda and Starblade (That was his name when I got him and I don’t feel like changing it) play pranks on the other soldiers. She is a nuisance to deal with but a valuable ally. When at home, Nelda does a complete 180. She is calm (mostly) and hangs out with her husband, a nervous-wreck of a spiral, Hiku. Anyone who approaches the spiral for medical assistance, is going to have to deal with a menacing looking ridgeback. No one knows quite sure on how Nelda and Hiku came to love each other, but the strange relationship works. Nelda’s brother, Starblade, likes to prank and scare Hiku, but when his does, Nelda immediately jumps on Starblade and the two get into a fist fight. Poor Hiku has to somehow pull them apart (or find someone to do it for him) and then treat their wounds. (Picture this, a tiny spiral stuck between and treating the wounds of two giant and dangerous ridgebacks)
Story
Nelda was separated from her family in the Viridian Labyrinth. Teams up with another ridgeback named Starblade. Together they ‘borrow’ supplies from passing dragons. They came into the SkullBird Clan when Nelda tried to steal medical supplies from Asiedu’s pouch to treat her sick brother. Because it was Asiedu, Asiedu punched Nelda’s lights out. When Nelda woke up, she saw a spiral treating her wounds. She tries to escape but the spiral, out of panic, tangled his body around Nelda’s legs and the two came crashing to the floor. That spiral was Hiku. Although the initial greeting was not of the best, the clan welcomed Nelda and Starblade into their group of rag-tag dragons.
At first, Nelda and Starblade only helped around with small tasks that they can find from the members of the clan. Soon though, it became clear that Nelda and Starblade would become fighters in the coli.
Random fact: When Nelda and Hiku were younger, they were about the same size (as close as ridgebacks and spirals can get). But now in their adult years, Nelda is much, much bigger than Hiku.
