This pensive skydancer left home somewhat reluctantly. He had been fully educated with the best of tutors and while he is a silver-tongue knowing no less than seven languages he preferred translation. His father, Dissonance, was exceedingly wealthy but easily manipulated by those he cared for. As a result, many of his siblings wore entitlement like a crown they had already been gifted. While his family cared for him, Laren couldn't help but feel lost and eventually struck out on his own.

He sold his services to anyone with the proper coin. To find himself in the employ of the royal scribe and former queen of an arcane clan, Sugarblossom, was unnerving but he found that he excelled at any task set before him. The courtier is overly empathetic for his kind, preferring seclusion when he can get away with it. If he has any of Euphorium's skills of sight lingering Laren has kept such notions to himself and Sugarblossom has not questioned his perceptiveness.
