Gweneira just grew too fast and large for her own liking. Her self esteem was low and she liked to keep to herself. In her early years, Gweneira was further ridiculed for her almost obsessive love of plants. Nobody understood why the gentle giant always wanted to spend time in her mother's garden instead of trying to make friends. That was, of course, until they started to realize that she would speak to the plants. However, instead of passing it off as whimsy, the other dragons pushed her aside and labeled her as crazy. According to the others, she was either imagining the voices or trying to make herself seem special. Another blow for her. Making her even more of an outcast.

As the years passed, the dragons around her slowly realized that Gweneira was not, in fact, crazy, but rather she has been blessed - she truly could speak to the plants around her. It took the proclamation of a seer for everyone to truly believe it. Since then, Gweneira has been left alone, and others have accepted her, in their eyes, eccentric behaviors. However, they really only accepted it, not understood it, which made them avoid her.

Being left alone has never bothered Gweneira. Being ignored though? That is a whole other matter. Of course, not all of the dragons do this, but a good portion of them cannot even meet her eyes. Some of the wealthier dragons do find merit in her ability to keep and nurture greenery. She makes a handsome living as a greenskeeper for the richest of dragons. Her existence is lonely though it does not deter her labors of love with her herbal companions.
