Acrylic

Art has always been Acrylic's passion. From childhood, she has spent her time finger painting and learning more about her favourite art form. A lot of the time, her art is extremely messy (and strays from her canvas) but she is working on getting better. She finds the sensation of paint between her claws therapeutic.

Because of the messiness of her profession, she has gotten into many squabbles with the clan architect, Lowri. She found him a bit stuck up, unappreciative of art, and fun to tease. Her art may have resulted in a few paint splashes on the wall, sure, but her art made her happy, and it wasn't as if she had splattered paint all over some random wall, it was the studio wall. And maybe a few other walls, but that wasn't the point.

Most of all, Acrylic dreams of her art making other dragons happy. Because of this, she has spent days practicing her art and improving it beyond paint splatters to gift the clan with one of her most ambitious projects ever: murals depicting the history of the clan and it's inhabitants.

Unfortunately, before she could start on her project, she had to get approval from and work in collaboration with Lowri. It took ages for him to actually agree to her plan, but he eventually caved. The first project of there's was to paint a mural depicting the clan's entire history in the dining hall of the Inn Over Yonder. Upon seeing the success of that, the expansion of the clan into a port town led to even more murals. Some depicted clan history, like the mural in the tavern depicting the clan's heroes and the one in the Queen's house depicting the past leaders of the clan. Now, almost every building has a mural somewhere on or in it, either of an interest of the residents, or something to do with the history of the dragons who live and work within. Both Acrylic and Lowri work in tandem to accomplish this.

With all the time Lowri and Acrylic spent together, it was inevitable that they would grow to become friendly with each other, but almost no one foresaw that their relationship would become more than that. Both dragons have learned from each other. Acrylic has learned to show the work of others and the meaning within it more respect, and she has taught Lowri that art can be about more than meaning, it can be about fun. The two of them certainly don't get along as well as most of the couples in the clan do, but they make it work, because when it comes down to it, they really do compliment each other, both artistically and romantically.
