Arianwryn Templar Studious | Devoted | Critical "I've learned from my past, I owe her Grace for leading me down the right path of forgiveness." Arianwryn is a studious learner, his childhood days were spent among a monastery of fellow light dragons who were studying for a higher cause, to worship the Lightbringer in her joy and spread that undying belief to others through any means. Including violence. Arianwryn learned from a young age the hardships of crusading as a Templar and often the destruction that came in the wake of purging the nonbelievers and heretics who dared worship those other than her grace. For so long he went along with his higher ups wishes, smiting those who stood up to him without so much as asking questions. However, as Arianwryn rose in the ranks of his people, he began to take pilgrimages alone as was tradition among the elders. While the belief was that these journeys were so these Templars could find enlightenment with her grace, yet the elders informed Arianwryn it wasn't just that, it was for him to prove himself worthy to be sitting with them. But as Arianwryn took his first steps down a path all his own, he began to see things far more clearly than he ever had. All of the texts he had read as a child were proven wrong, other Light clans existed and flourished in harmony with other dragons who weren't born under her grace, dragons he'd never seen in the ancient books. Arianwryn began to question everything he knew, settling in a prosperous Light Clan as he began his new search for knowledge. While he had been sheltered, there were things he hadn't wanted to learn. The wars and fighting, the abandoned children. But, as he learned, he learned that sometimes it was necessary. He began a journey for knowledge, accompanied by a friend and colleague he'd made, Virtue. As traveling scholars the two studied things from far and wide through different clans before Arianwryn and Virtue became mates, reaching the lands of Kronyx Highlands to study more about Shadow and the new clan that accepts all, regardless of their pasts. |
