  Kyrmis has a good heart, but it's hidden behind her tough and stern exterior. She lives to care for people and heal both their bodies and their minds, but she can be rather controlling of her patients. In her eyes (and in all fairness, it is true), her plan for their care is the best and only plan they should follow, and any deviation from that plan should be avoided at all costs. She gets into verbal scuffles a lot, and she's often far too stubborn and sure of herself to back down. She has a hard time fostering relationships, and there's a constant feeling of nagging loneliness in the back of her mind.

Born in a small village in Aavsos, when she was a young child, a sickness overcame the town. As one of the few inhabitants with an immunity to the illness, she found herself in charge of taking care of many dragons. Although the work was hard, she found caring for other enjoyable and rewarding. The sickness eventually passed, and Kyrmis was credited with saving many lives. She went and studied under some surgeons in Midfen, eventually landing a job as the doctor for the royal family.
