Letter of recommendation for Ramiel from Nettle the stealth enchanter.

Ramiel came to me with an unusual problem- he heard that I specialized in stealth enchantments, and he was hoping I could teach him to hide the glow of the silvery runes that mark his skin, since they (understandably) ruin all of his attempts at hiding in the shadows or blending in with a crowd.

Unfortunately there was little I could do for him in that department; I could have taught him how to use his own Shadow magic to hide them, if he had any, but he was born to Plague's persuasion instead. I could have enchanted him with my own magic, but that would wear off in a few days or so and he wasn't satisfied with the idea of depending on someone else to solve his problem again and again that way.

He took the bad news gracefully, though I saw his jaw clenching up with frustration. Since I felt sorry that I couldn't manage what he needed I sent him to my mate Nissia and her skills in alchemy. She didn't have any potion recipes that would do exactly what Ramiel needed, but she did have some wisdom about what ingredients he might use to figure it out on his own, and I'm confident that if he keeps trying he'll have himself a camouflage potion all worked out that he can make for himself as often as he needs it.

I just, ah, hope that what he needs it for is, you know, above the board as it were. He didn't mention why he needs so badly to be able to sneak about unseen, and I certainly didn't ask. A child of Shadow knows when to keep their nose out of someone else's business.

Currently a Medic of the magical arts, though likes to fight with his magic as well.
