An industrial, barren place like this would imprison his free, careless spirit, is what he always thought. So many rules, so many punishments. There was no room in the Shifting Expanse for fooling around, everyone knew that.

But he still placed that bet and he still tried his best to convince the dept collector that his life could be of use to his flight, so he would regret it if he killed him. It wasn't hard to convince him, since they could always use more hands. What Draco was planning while he let his silver tongue do its magic, was to escape after a few days of pretending to work.
