Waffle

"What are you looking at?!"

Waffle doesn't like to speak about her past and she usually avoids other dragons.

It is rumored that when she was born, many years ago, she was the most beautiful pink princess anyone had ever seen. Until one day she woke up in the middle of the night with a sudden craving for waffles. All of her servants were asleep, so she decided to make some herself. Quietly she walked down the stairs towards the kitchen, careful not to wake anyone. Everything went great, but when she turned the waffle iron on, it violently exploded in her face with a loud bang. Completely panicking, she managed to put the fire out before the startled servants came running into the kitchen. When they saw her, some of them fainted on the spot. The others took her to the hospital to be treated for severe burns. She made a full recovery, but her scorched skin never returned to its original color.

When she returned home, she was ridiculed and teased by the others. Her original name was soon forgotten, now everyone called her "waffle". She decided to ignore them, hoping they would stop eventually. But as time went by, the teasing only became worse and worse.

Little fae hatchlings fluttered around her head screaming insults. None of the adult dragons stopped them, so she did what any annoyed dragon does: she slapped them away with her tail and managed to hit one of them in the face. Unfortunately for her, this fae was the hatchling of the hatchling of the brother of the clanfounder. When he found out what she had done he immediately casted her out. Knowing there was no point in arguing and almost feeling relieved, she left.

Ever since then she is looking for another clan to make a fresh start, hoping none of them have heard of the horrible, life destroying waffle-story.
