Strong-willed and loyal to his mate, Iriehana, Dex is a faithful and stead fast dragon. Committed to protecting his new family found in the Cactus Clan, he perches atop his favorite rock spire on the outskirts of the clan's territory to keep guard. His keen eyes spot any sort of threat long before the need to take action becomes dire. Collaboration between Dex and Machina is frequent as they relay back and forth on the status of territory boarders.

He carries himself solemnly, taking his duties seriously.... at times, too seriously. Sometimes several Faes of the clan enjoy toying with him by tugging at the tufts of his tail and chattering mono-tone jokes to him and one another while fluttering around his head. Despite the absence of conflict for weeks and sometimes months on end, Dex is always certain that a confrontation is on the horizon and is determined to be alert at all times.
