One could say William is the most experienced dragon in the clan, considering he's one of the oldest and has come all the way from Dragonhome. Back in the day, he used to be an avid Coliseum-fighter, but lately, he's been settling for more calming activities such as reading and writing. William tends to write short stories or poems, or lyrics for various songs never to be composed. Sometimes he's been discovered reading his own bedtime stories for the hatchlings.

William is quite protective of his friends, almost as much as Victoria, and he takes pride in his ability to calm down upset dragons and gently coax them to their nest. His voice is described as soothing and pleasant, and he always seems to know what to say. Thanks to his mate Yumi, William also knows healing salves and herbs to a short extent.

When he was appointed as the clan advisor, William wasn't quite sure what to do, but he figured his way around things quickly. He takes care of tasks that Vorpal is too busy for, and enjoys being of use. He likes to spend time with Vorpal almost as much as his mate and aids her in her leadership duties. The clan realized almost immediately that he was the right choice for an advisor.
