Callar

Callar lived a majority of his life as an orphan of the Plague lands, having long ago lost his parents to a plague that wiped out foreign dragons. Because Callar himself was hatched within the Plague Bringer's realm, he was born immune to this strange illness, and survived to begin his very own clan. Although he had mated with plenty of other dragons, and sired many children of his own, he still felt an emptiness of sorts... that is, until he met Gayl. He came across Gayl during a morning flight. Assuming Gayl dead, he only swooped down to grieve this stranger, but instead found that he was still alive. Out of the kindness of his heart (and remembering being told he had lost his parents to a similar plague) Callar used the toxins found in his trusted familiar to help nurse Gayl back to health. As Gayl began to regain strength, he insisted Gayl stay put, and not travel off, in fear that Gayl was not at full strength. After some time, Callar understood that Gayl was not the strongest of Dragons health wise, but despite this, he was strong hearted. This strong spirit captivated Callar and led Callar to want to impress Gayl enough to make him stay. Within time, Gayl decided that the Wandering Contagion was where he belonged, and, with the help of Callar, has survived to this day in such an inhospitable wasteland.
