And my first dragon with biography, yay!
As a Seer, he had seen the future. He had been able to provide help, knowledge to his clan. He had been trusted, respected.
There was shadow, and darkness. Too much of it to see clearly.
Danger.
Death.
Inevitable.
He had to understand what exactly he had seen. He had to find a way to protect his clan, to forestall that grim fate. From the Fishspine Reef he traveled to the Tangled Wood. Who knows more about the shadows than the Shadow Flight?
There were whispers in the darkness.
Come to us. See what we see. Know what we know.
You want to understand, you want to protect. You want to save them.
What good is there in seeing the future, when you can't comprehend what you've seen? When you don't know what to do to obviate destruction?
Let us teach you. Let us help you. Let us show you.
Don't be afraid. Embrace your future.
Let us touch you. Let us teach you. Let us change you.
There was knowledge. Shadows and thorns and blood. Spells and potions.
Shadow Mage couldn't count on a warm welcome in Water flight clan. He knew that. Shadow Mage once being one of their own could count on at least being welcomed. There was no celebration. No one else has seen what he had seen. No one else knew about the shadow. No one else knew what he had done. What he had learnt. How he had identified Shadow Summoner and killed him, before he could become a foreseen threat to the entire clan.
No one believed him.
There were whispers in the shadows.
Gossips, misunderstanding, untrust.
So he left, again.
