Though a mindwalker like Tezca, Kal'din's true talents lay deep in the realm of dreams as a Dreamcaster, allowing him to manipulate dreams in either a in a benevolent, helpful way that soothes and eases the mind, or a malevolent way that brings terror to the dreamer.

His magic is nothing to sneeze at either, and he's proving to particularly adapt on the offensive side of things.

Naturally, Tarn seeks to mould him into a weapon. He's not wrong to try.
