Lacy was born into a specialized clan of Veilspuns known as Changelings. Changelings are a particular type of dragon who can transform into another dragon, however most must steal away the hatchlings as a child in order to do so. Changelings dragons would then feed on the love of the dragons who raised them and return said 'love' to the hive for nourishment. Lacy was born an 'alpha changeling' which means she is capable of transforming into any other dragon she sees on sight. She was set to become the next queen of the hive when she became an adult.

Because Lacy was set to become a queen, she was treated with upmost respect and care. She took a liking to books and learning, and was given access to as many libraries as she desired. She studied from dawn to dusk, becoming a strategist without peer. Learning as much information as she could as well about the different dragons, beastclans, and types of creatures which appear in the Coliseum, she was devoted to earning as much knowledge as she could.

Just as she was about to be crowned queen of her people, her hive was assaulted by Lilith, whom wanted to dominate the hive and take it for her own. Lacy did her best to fight back, but her home was destroyed and her people were scattered like leaves on the wind. Now with a concrete goal in mind, Lacy joined Draconequis clan in order to try and make reparations for her hive. She became a member of the "Element Fighters" alongside Gavin, ScarletThunder, Malachite, VoidBeam, and Epsilon. She is the second in command, and often consulted by Gavin for strategies to use when they go on covert operations.
