E.Z. came to Death Clan unexpectedly, showing up from somewhere in Lightweaver's territory to settle down in Plague. No one knew why or precisely where he came from only that he just seemed to appear in the clan without question. Some dragons say E.Z was banished from his home flight for something he did and that was why his body was marked with crimson while others whispered he was cursed like the pendant he wore around his neck.



E.Z. only gave them enough knowledge to know that he was skilled with magic and his parents were fond of art and science. The rest is unknown, though his eyes seem to hide cunning that his new clanmates took as something to distrust. They weren't even sure what the E and Z stood for, if they even represented something in his real name. Still, he hasn't done anything to suggest malice and until then their leader, Cerberus, has agreed to give him shelter.



He prefers to stick to himself rather than hang out with the other dragons in the clan anyway however. E.Z. has spent his time in the clan muttering to himself in a language the others don't understand as he stares into the talon clasp pendant around his neck. Occasionally a curious hatchling will try to approach him only to be ushered back into the hatchery by one of the nest takers or a parent.



E.Z. does seem to take a particular interest in dragons though from afar. Select ones fall under his gaze and afterwards they claim that even when they are out of his sight they still feel like he is behind them, watching them as if waiting. Those dragons occasionally go missing later on though E.Z. has never been proven of doing it, his alibi always holds up. The mystery around him continues to bother his clanmates.



Another oddity to other dragons is the strange language E.Z. speaks. It's something ancient and seems to invoke power from another source that is being channeled through him. When asked the skydancer only refers to this other language as shade-tongue, which is seen as either a joke or something to be cautious about. Of course most dragons don't care what type of power or language he speaks considering E.Z. uses it when creating deals and carrying them out.



Of course, he doesn't make deals without a price. This of course varies depending on what is being asked for but failure to make ends meet tends to result in his customer's disappearance. Similar things occur when dragons dig too deep into his past and E.Z. has done his best to ward his clanmates off from figuring anything out. It wouldn't do for the strange skydancer to lose his home after they accepted his... abilities.
