  The younger sister of Zambarau, she's the more reckless member of the pioneering pair. She's into exploration for the thrills and the adventure, and always tries to have a good time wherever she goes. She's childlike and impulsive, often rushing into situations that can put herself or her sister in danger. She also has trouble taking the blame and owning up to her mistakes, which has caused problems in the past. However, she has a big heart and is constantly making sure that her travel companions are happy and healthy. She was born with rather fragile wings, so flight has always been an issue for her.

Born from the same nest as Zambarau, due to unknown complications she hatched a few months later than her sister. When she finally did hatch, her wings were weak and fragile, rendering her unable to fly. This was always a sore spot for her, so she distracted herself from it by going on long hikes. When Deargard sent out a notice across the kingdom that they were looking for exploration teams, Phaenna happily followed her sister and helped found Team Va'en. She had developed incredible stamina from all of her hiking, which helped immensely when it came to travelling with the team and finding new lands for Deargard. She's been all over most of Sornieth, and she hopes to make many more incredible discoveries.
