Born to a shamaness mother and a heart-broken father who stayed only long enough to make a clutch before stumbling off in search of absolution somewhere... two sisters. One gone the moment Reina brought her to the dragon markets... and this one, spoken for by a Water clan. A new clan, Reina saw, and not far from where the Lair by the Sea made its den in the cliffs. Why not form a deeper bond with them?

She and Clymene saw the little one off. 'Go on,' said the shaman firmly. 'You will be the first in a line that binds us to the mysteries of the sea!'

You'll be able to visit,' Reina added. 'So don't fear. The sea has always been a part of us here, for all we are born to the Wind. The sea is also a singer.'

Nightbloom grew into a strikingly beautiful adult with piercing eyes and a sharp, deft mind. Taking after her mother, she began paying more attention to unseen spirits than many of the flesh-and-blood dragons of her clan. She works with the energy of the land, sea, and sky around the lair to win her clanmates blessings and good fortune... and she rolls her eyes when Water oracles are mentioned. Who needs oracles to a sunken god when you can address the local spirits yourself?

Bloom forms fierce, close connections relatively quickly, though not often. Her adoptive sister Nightshore, traded to a Lightning clan in alliance, and her adoptive mother Isikdha have her fiery loyalty and unshakable love. She has a quieter fondness for Foamflower, whom she persuades to ‘bless’ her eggs with his contribution to new life; he performs this service with the greatest of reluctance and only with Darkwind's assistance. Now that their fated child has gone off to a Lightning clan to serve there, she is less adamant about procreation and more interested in tending the creations of nature.

Though she's vehemently independent and often embroiled in her own chosen 'work,' Bloom keeps a careful eye on the morale of the clan and the health of the lair. She is happier in the Gladekeeper’s lands than the black depths of the sea, truth be told, and the clan’s luck seems to have risen along with her satisfaction with her life.

Nothing is permanent, time will always find a way to turn your stable life upside down. Nightbloom finds herself in the meeting area of her new clan once again. Xenno, Pyrin, and Metatron stare at her curiously, without judgement. Xenno explains that he is the clan leader, the first progenitor, the one who has the final say in all clan matters. Pyrin is the clan ambassador, the one she flew home with when she was bought from her previous clan. And Metatron, the Captain of the guards who watch over the clan. What happened in the past for him to be needed here?
