HISTORY
Kida was raised in a clan on the Tsunami Flats known for its water mages. From a young age, she was helping her clanmates to protect the lair from the frequent tsunamis, bending the water around her like an expert. Despite its magical wealth, her clan was poor in resources, and as she grew older they found themselves stuck paying exorbitant prices to visiting merchants for food. This continued until Raeni arrived, and hatched a plan to raid the merchant ship.

Though she has her hesitations about the more violent aspects of piracy, Kida appreciates the thought of targeting dragons like the ones that exploited her clan, and when Raeni offered, Kida agreed to help her form a crew.

Kida’s far from invincible, but there’s no denying that her skill in elemental magic is especially formidable. She frequently lends her talents to protecting the Parda from storms or rough seas, and is instrumental in seizing ships.

As a member of the crew, Kida spends most of her time aboard the Queen’s Parda. She shares the captain’s cabin with her mate Raeni, but can be found on the deck even – or especially – in the worst of weather, calming the waters so that they may travel unscathed. She takes a fierce pride in the ship’s wellbeing. At the cove, she shares a small waterfront home with Raeni, and has put a lot of effort into fostering the island's coral reefs.

MORAL CODE
Kidagakash is driven by a strong sense of justice; having been part of a clan exploited by the upper classes, she knows well how cruelty and commerce overlap. It is a mistake to take her idealism for weakness. Though she insists she doesn’t condone violence for any reason, she has been known to turn a blind eye to her mate’s treatment of the worst offenders. Under the right circumstances, she can be just as vicious as her queen and captain.
