Levant

Originally destined to wander after happening upon the clan and being told to leave after Yaal found out she was a girl instead of the boy he thought, she owes her continued stay to Neikor, who advised the leader that since there were no snappers among the clan, and he had no mate, he would happily try to see if he and Levant were compatible.

Although still wary of Yaal and Neikor, her mate's kind nature has begun to relax her, and she looks forward to her first mating with the older dragon, if only to see if he is still gentle when it comes time to breed.

Unfortunately for her, recent events have displaced her as Neikor's promised mate, to be replaced by a snapper thanks to Yaal's distaste for her.

Despite Yaal's mistreatment of her, and Neikor's entrapment in his current mating fiascos, Levant was prepared to leave, until a rumor arrived on the wings of a young pearlcatcher that she might get a mate of her own, thanks to some meddling from Neikor.
