Thorn is the excentric second daughter of Skalia and Korius. She is far younger than their first, Sandspill, and has little love for her sister. She leads and guides the Clergy, which she founded upon receiving a vision. Though she has only learned very little magic her connection to the mystical is strong, making her a rare and underappreciated exception within the clan.
Thorn maintains a mental distance from the world, speaking in few words and not caring whether they were received or not. Dragons may come and ask for guidance or seek advice, and Thorn will happily give it, though whether those listening care to heed her words is beyond her interest.
As High Priestess she does not discriminate, unlike the rest of her clan, but she won't pick favorites either. This is how she raised her siblings, and the lack of warmth on both sides may be the fault of her teaching, though not for a lack of love on her side at least.

Backstory
Thorn was born into the clan many years after her older sister. Her nestmates have long since left, and she remained behind alone. Strange is perhaps the word one would use to describe young Thorn. She was always absent, seeing and hearing things no one else saw, and after Bonfire took her in and taught her, she gained a distance and yet understanding that she lacked before.
