Skalli
"Love of mine, some day you will die. But I'll be close behind, I'll follow you into the dark."
Wrong. That's what she was. Her body a shambling construct of smoke and unstable energy, barely in the shape of a dragon. It hurt to focus your eyes on her form, and the nausea induced was unbearable. Getting closer will only strengthen the discomfort, and a high pitched static noise will fill your ears. This was no being of light, but if not, what was she? She did not know.

She came from deep within the Hewn City, an abandoned egg sheltered beneath a stone monolith. As she grew she felt that deep pull, the instinctive drive of her species. Her charge. She didn't know who it was or why, only that she had to find her. And so she traveled, across the Lightweaver's domain, through those dark streets filled with untold threats. She emerged from the City not as the scared hatchling, but as a weathered warrior with a purpose. And she found her. She knew her when she saw her, a nocturne as bright as the sun, shimmering in the light. Anuja.
