Biography
***updated April 2017**
Here's Goblin's Dom-in-a-Box explanation of Nature Dom.
The Nature Flight Dom Hub has links to the guides and services to help, pinglists you can join for invitations to planning and discussions, and dom news updates.
leveler: if you like to battle in the coliseum, and have at least two dragons L15 or higher, then you can train extra dragons for the Gladekeeper. These extra dragons are usually trained between L6 and 10 and give a bonus treasure of 9-15k each. During a push we often train dragons only to L5 in order to exalt as many levels as possible in a short time.
To begin training your dragons visit the Bladewood, post #2, for a list of useful training guides. You can also work with another flight member as a helper in the Bladewood Training Grove or use their steps on your own.
breeder: breeders plan ahead and send dragons to nest 11 days before a planned battle. This gives dragon pairs 5 days to sit on a nest, hatch eggs and allows hatchlings 6 days to reach adult status. (Only adult dragons can be trained in the coliseum. Hatchlings bring about 2k treasure when exalted.) These dragons become exaltlings or fodder and can be sold to levelers. There will be an announcement in the Dom Hub to remind breeders when to start their nesting.
You can visit the GLADE to sign up for the nest expansion savings club, if you wish. You send 5k treasure to the host each week until you earn an expansion. In the mean time you can also make expansions on your own (it's a good idea to sign up early so by the time you're ready for nest 4 or 5 you've qualified)
holder: a holder runs a dragon hostel to feed and keep trained dragons, or adults waiting to be trained, for levelers and snipers. In return they receive a few thousand treasure per dragon and free food. Dragons are usually help for a week or less, before or during a battle.
The GLADE can help you with this too. You can sign up for the lair expansion savings club. More lair space means you can hold more dragons.
sniper: a sniper watches the auction house and buys inexpensive hatchlings or adult dragons. Those dragons, and hatchlings once they are grown, are either resold on the auction house at a profit or sold to levelers during battle.
The Green Sniper Corps is a thread with a short guide to help you practice sniping. It's also a place where expert snipers share their tips and new snipers can ask questions. You don't need a lot of treasure to begin sniping. You can begin with one or two dragons.
The new Auction House revamp has changed the sniping tactics. There should be an update soon.

You can join a dedicated dom group if you like. We have two kinds:
The best part about Dominance battles is working with your fellow flight members. We'd like to know what's giving you trouble, and to hear about your successes! During a dominance battle the Nature Forum will be full of chatter and stories, because people plan to be online at least a little while to play together.
And there are other ways to participate listed in the Dom Hub : like having a savings account in the Seed Bank, donating spare junk to the Gladekeeper's Recycling Center, or participating in games and raffles that benefit Nature's dominance efforts.
In the meantime you can help Nature Flight by exploring the site. L.O.S.T is a scavenger hunt, with prizes, that will lead you on a site tour.

Types of Pushes we use push and battle interchangeably
Once a year, for the Greenskeeper Gathering, we host activities that include the entire site. Here is the event hub for May. These activities are still in the planning stages. There is always a need for volunteers to help run or host activities.

You can join a dedicated dom group if you like. We have two kinds:
The Gladekeeper's Groves: work together mainly during planned dominance. These are small non-competitive groups where each member specializes in one or two ways. They focus on making a profit. Some are more active than others.
Nature's Battle Guilds: are more competitive. They are larger groups that come together during dominance, and in between dom they have mini-battles against each other for practice.

Types of Pushes we use push and battle interchangeably
- Conquest Push:
- players and teams go all-out to train and exalt as many dragons as possible in order to win the top flag. These are often against other Flights so competition can be fierce. The price of exaltlings (aka exalts or fodder dragons) will rise in the Auction House. Many players save treasure so that they will have extra to spend during a heated battle, and might plan to lose treasure over the week in order to win. **you should not get carried away: it meant to be fun and challenging**
- Profit Push:
- this push is only for making treasure, lots of treasure, dragons love treasure. Sometimes we will send dragons to other flights if they are offering a bonus for leveled dragons, for instance if they are having a conquest battle against another flight. Profit is the focus of this kind of battle.
- Event Push:
- a profit push with user-hosted activities in-Flight to encourage players to participate in dom. This kind of push usually includes forum games, raffles and sometimes in-flight competitions.
Once a year, for the Greenskeeper Gathering, we host activities that include the entire site. Here is the event hub for May. These activities are still in the planning stages. There is always a need for volunteers to help run or host activities.
Click or tap a food type to individually feed this dragon only. The other dragons in your lair will not have their energy replenished.
