Vieska of the Chosen
Den Mother | Gen 9 Flight Legacy Challenge
Vieska was drawn by fate from her original lair to sire the Chosen child descended from dragons born from a Light egg gifted to Irineth from the Lightweaver. Although her wife joined the Tidelord after delivering the Chosen, Vieska chose to stay behind, feeling like her job wasn't yet done.

As it turns out, it wasn't.

Although she is no longer assigned the duties of preaching of the Lightweaver, Vieska is often seen as the core representation of the Lightweaver amongst Irineth's denizens. She holds favor with those who prefer intellectual pursuits over the warriors, and finds herself truly at peace amongst the scrolls of walls of books in the Hall of Records. She speaks only in short, precise sentences, but does so love to listen to one wax poetic.

She was self-assigned the role of denmother, but was soon found to be a valuable asset. All adult dragons transitioning from the Hibernal den to the Glade must go through Vieska first. She registers their name in the Book of Lore, and if they have a Vikingsona. She then assists with their next steps to becoming full Denizens of the lair, including whether they live in the Presage or the Glades, and getting them the vocational training needed.
