Tamyra was the resident of a planet that no longer exists.
She was horribly neglected by her “adoptive” family, and the one day that she’d decided to run away she snuck her way onto Keeran’s scout ship. Just as the planet itself was about to be destroyed. Talk about a lucky break. Of course, she didn’t realize it at the time that this was a ship that would be leaving the planet- or that the planet would be getting destroyed promptly after.
After some convincing, Tamyra was allowed to stay on board the AT Starjumper. She and Keeran have been close friends since.
Tamyra hopes to find her true origins some day, as she’d learned that she didn’t actually come from where she thought she had, and her adoptive family were actually intergalactic kidnappers.
She doesn’t remember much, but she vaguely recalls having an older sister. If she could do anything, it would be to reunite with her sister, wherever she may be.
At the time being, she’s been accepted into the home of the Arunian High Matriarch. She treats her as she would her own daughter, just as she had treated Keeran like her own.
