Fern

Fern was always bullied when she was a hatchling. She went to Dragon School, but didn't excel at all subjects like her siblings did. They taunted and teased her after school about her grades. It broke Fern's heart. She found a way to avoid them, by going to the stream beside her house.

One day, she found a weird plant growing beside the stream. It had only one stem, and had tiny leaves growing on its two sides. How odd! She quickly bounded back home a checked the copy of "The Book of All Known Plants to Dragonkind" for its picture, and didn't find a matching record. So she returned to the stream, boldly ate a piece of the weird plant, and hoped she won't be poisoned by it. It tasted surprisingly sweet and good. She named it after herself, Fern, and showed it to her biology teacher. She soon became famous throughout the village as the discoverer of the fern plant, the tastiest junk food for herbivore dragons. She was never bullied by her siblings again. (via IceRose )
