She is a librarian at the Laule’a Library. She loves knowledge and reading even though she tends to burn the books. She was born with a condition that makes her always hot to the touch. She was banished from her previous lair since she was always catching things on fire. She ran all throughout the night and into the day. The rain hurt her as it poured relentlessly. She found a nearby cave and smacked into something, or someone. She immediately felt cool, not hot or in pain. She looked at this white dragon in awe. Snow had a similar condition but was always ice cold. She found her perfect match in him. Snow nicknamed her flame since she is so small and light, but lights up his life.

Ever since she came to Laule’a she felt welcomed even if she burns a few things. Momma Amelia smiles and lets her know everything is replaceable; except other dragons and familiars. She works at the library wearing special gloves and coat so she doesn't set the place ablaze. She is researching a cure for both her and her mate. She loves the Viridian Labyrinth and Dragonhome. She hates the Southern Icefield.

Being cursed tends to bring those who are similar to you, to you. That's what happened when fire met phoenix. The spirit of fire followed her wherever she went, thinking she was a part of the curse. Only after did she stop and chat with the spirit, did she see it was friendly and just wanted to be near her, and to comfort her. Pyre was her name and ever since then they have been inseparable. She has a love hate relationship with Glacie; Snow's familiar.
