Wandering the Southern Icefield requires a dragon to be able to adapt to the fierce cold. For Whisper, the harshness of the frozen land serves as a reminder of tragedy and resilience.

Originally an inhabitant of the Frigid Floes, Whisper was nearly fully grown when her home was beset by raiders. Using a snowstorm for cover, they quickly surrounded her small clan. Afterwards, she was left for dead with the rest of her clannmates while the raiders continued on. The Icewarden, however, had different ideas; whether a blessing or a curse, Whisper survived and awoke to see all that she had known buried under the snow. In her anguish, the snow whirled around her as her claws became as sharp as ice and her eyes glowed with a cold light.

She had been changed; freezing winds blew under her control and ice covered he claws, forming deadly battle weapons that were as sharp as razors. While leaving a marker for what lay under the snow, her touch brought the armor of her clan to life. Together with her spirit armor, she set off across the frozen expanse.

Eventually, her travels carried her to the Snowsquall Tundra. It was here where she met with a lost wanderer from the Gladeveins. Despite her initial hostility, he eventually got past though her frozen heart. Together with her mate Cloudwing, Whisper finally found a place to call home.
